Terms of Service
Last updated: December 10, 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to RelayMail. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RelayMail service ("Service"), operated by RelayMail ("we", "our", or "us").
By accessing or using RelayMail, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Service Description
RelayMail provides an email-to-Slack relay service that allows you to:
- Receive emails in a Slack channel by forwarding them to a unique RelayMail address
- Reply to those emails directly from Slack, with replies sent as normal emails
- Maintain conversation threads between email and Slack
How It Works
RelayMail uses email forwarding, not direct email account access. You configure your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) to forward emails to us. We never store your email passwords or credentials. Replies are sent via our email infrastructure (Resend) with your email address in the Reply-To header.
3. Account Registration
To use RelayMail, you must:
- Sign in with a valid Slack account
- Have permission to install apps in your Slack workspace (or obtain approval from a workspace admin)
- Provide accurate information during registration
- Maintain the security of your Slack account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@relaymail.app.
4. Your Responsibilities
When using RelayMail, you agree to:
- Set up forwarding correctly: You are responsible for configuring email forwarding in your email provider
- Use the Service lawfully: You will not use RelayMail for spam, harassment, illegal activities, or to violate others' rights
- Respect rate limits: You will stay within your plan's thread limits and not attempt to circumvent them
- Maintain accurate information: Keep your account information up to date
- Protect your Slack workspace: Only grant RelayMail access to channels appropriate for the email content you'll receive
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You may not use RelayMail to:
- Send or receive spam, phishing emails, or malware
- Harass, threaten, or defame others
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit content that is illegal, harmful, or objectionable
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice.
6. Pricing and Payment
Subscription Plans
RelayMail offers subscription plans with the following pricing (subject to change):
- Starter: $10/month per inbox - Up to 1,000 threads/month
- Pro: $99/month per inbox - Up to 100,000 threads/month
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
- Payment is processed through Stripe
- You authorize us to charge your payment method on file
- Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
Thread Limits
Each plan includes a monthly thread limit. A "thread" is counted when:
- A new email conversation is received (first email from a sender on a topic)
- You send a reply from Slack
Subsequent emails within the same thread do not count against your limit. If you reach your limit, new emails will still arrive in Slack, but you won't be able to send replies until you upgrade or your billing cycle resets.
Refunds
Subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law. If you're unsatisfied with the Service, contact us and we'll work with you to resolve the issue.
7. Cancellation and Termination
Your Cancellation Rights
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made after the current period
- You retain access to the Service until the end of your paid period
Our Termination Rights
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Use the Service in a way that harms us, other users, or third parties
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Thread mapping data and account information will be deleted within 30 days of termination unless we are required by law to retain it.
8. Intellectual Property
Our Property
RelayMail, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of any content you transmit through the Service (emails, replies, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and transmit your content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
