RelayMail

Custom Domain Setup (Optional)

Send replies from your own domain for better deliverability and professional branding.

Why use RelayMail?

Your whole team can see and reply to customer emails from Slack. Replies go out as normal emails - customers never know you're using Slack.

Before you start

  • A RelayMail account (sign up takes 30 seconds)
  • Admin access to your Slack workspace
  • Access to your email account settings

Step-by-step setup

1

Why use a custom domain?

By default, replies are sent from noreply@relay.relaymail.app with your email in the Reply-To header. With a custom domain, replies come directly from your domain (e.g., support@yourcompany.com).
2

Add your domain in RelayMail

Go to your inbox settings and click 'Add custom domain'. Enter your domain name (e.g., yourcompany.com).
3

Add DNS records

RelayMail will show you SPF and DKIM records to add to your domain's DNS. This proves you own the domain and improves email deliverability.
4

Verify and enable

Once DNS records propagate (usually 5-30 minutes), click Verify in RelayMail. Your replies will now be sent from your own domain!

You're all set!

Emails will now appear in your Slack channel. Reply in the thread and your response will be sent as an email.
